Baseball Simulation

Didn't think this was big enough to be in main Marlins threads, so I posted it here. Years ago, I deveoloped a Baseball Simulator game that factors in pitcher fatigue, rookies, how good a player's throwing arm is, base running speed, etc. Today, I started putzing around trying to tweak up rosters for next season (barring any trades, etc., I set up the Phillies and Marlins and played a game). This game was played without Lowell, Enc, and Thome. Here is the box score:

Phillies had a chance to tie it up when Mota came in and although shaky pitched out of a major bases loaded jam (Mota loaded them) by getting a fielder's choice out at home and then a strike out

Delgado was a monster and Hermida had a strong first few at bats but then struggled the last half of the game.

I wanted to see how possible line-ups for next year would work based on '05 stats, and I wasn't disappointed...Marlins win!!!!
