Well, it'll stop them from making that Manny/Tejada trade. I think Burnitz will have a nice year and if the O's can get Prior without surrendering Bedard, then it'll have been a fairly good offseason.

Wouldn't getting Prior and Hill be better than just keeping Bedard?
