February 21, 200620 yr Sudden inspiration from watching Letterman... I think this was the most underrated tv show ever. I absolutely love it, and think I'm going to buy them dvd online soon. My thoughts.
February 21, 200620 yr So true. One of my favorite shows ever. So creative, smart and just plain funny. Dave Foley, Phil Hartman and Andy Dick are three really great comedic actors and the writing was so fresh and funny. I could go on all day about it. So good. I've watched the Season 1 and 2 DVD about a thousand times... Season 3 comes out in days, pre-ordered it from Amazon about two months ago, haha.
February 21, 200620 yr I agree. Up until Phil Hartman was killed, Newsradio was one of the most consistently funny shows on TV. The 1st two seasons are already out on DVD and I believe season 3 will be out at the end of this month.
February 21, 200620 yr I actually bought Volume 1 (Seasons 1 and 2) used for 21.99 at FYE last Friday. I love this show so much. Everyone in the cast made it big. Foley and Hartman of course were already big, Stephen Root does Bill's voice in King of the Hill and has cult status as Milton Wadams in Office Space, Khandi Alexander is in CSI (I think Miami, not sure), Maura Tierney's been on ER for years, Joe Rogan hosts Fear Factor, Andy Dick is popular for some reason... Terriffic show.
February 21, 200620 yr yep .. i'm renting the first two season off blockbuster - loved this program haven't watched it in a few years and although I still love the program - dave folley is a painful actor - good comedian, but can't play serious love stephen root in this as well just all around a good cast with some good writing
