1 rd mock explained as well (no 1st round trades)

Featured Replies

Jets cut Chad Pennington.

Trades Abraham to Washington for Ramsey and a 3rd round pick (2007).

Miami signs Drew Brees

Minnesota doesn?t trade Culpepper

Detriot trades a 4th for Brian Griese

1 Houston: Reggie Bush RB USC ? Top player in the draft on most boards

2 New Orleans: Matt Leinart QB USC - Top QB in the draft, easy fit

3 Tennessee: Vince Young QB Texas ? Good young talent, takes 2 years to develope

4 New York Jets: Jay Cutler QB Vandy - Has a great combine with the best arm and good release

5 Green Bay: AJ Hawk LB Ohio State ? Big time playmaking LB

6 Oakland: Mario Williams DE NCS ? Top defensive player in the draft, easily fills a huge need for them.

7 San Francicso: Haloti Ngata DT Oregon ? Clogs up the middle for the 3-4

8 Buffalo: D?Brickshaw Ferguson LT Virgina - Is a compete and utter steal at the 8th pick

9 Detriot: Tamba Hali DE Penn State ? Great pass rushing Defensive End, will have a good combine with the great Bowl game and senior bowl.

10 Arizona: Brodrick Bunkley DT FSU ? Has his stock been rising, is a great threat upon the rush and top skills player upon the line. Good 4-3 undertackle, reminds me of Sapp

11 St. Louis: Michael Huff CB Texas ? Top Defensive back in the draft

12 Cleveland: Manny Lawson OLB NCS ? Has his stock rising hugely and will have a big combine too. Gives them the big threat from the edges.

13 Baltimore: Lendale White RB USC ? They have 2 running backs that are FA. He is a Jamal lewis with new more fresh wheels.

14 Philadelphia Chad Greenway LB Iowa ? A great LB that in a lesser year is a top 10 pick

15 Atlanta: Jimmy Williams CB/S VT ? Good defensive back could be a Cornerback or a Safety. Either way they love their VT players and he fits in well

16 Miami: Antonio Cromatrie CB FSU ? A different pick for Miami here, he is the a 6?3 200 lb cornerback that runs a 4.3. If not for his injuries he is a top 10 pick, but the combine will prove him healthy and he will rise fast. Fills a big need for the secondary

17 Minnesota: DeAngelo Williams RB Memphis ? Will end up a great running back and solves their sharing time issue

18 Dallas: Winston Justice OT USC ? Good talented Tackle that will be a great Right tackle for them.

19 San Diego: Ko Simpson S SC ? Great Safety help, they can get some line help later on. He can come in and be an impact player in that secondary right away.

20 Kansas City: Gabe Watson DT Michigan ? Big time bruiser in the middle that fills up the line and space

21 New England: Darnell Bing S USC ? A good safety to fill in with Harrison and

eventually take over. He will give them an impact player

22 Denver (Washington): Mathias Kiwanuka DE BC ? A raw player but his talent is top 10. He falls downwards though because his technique needs work. In two years he is a pro bowl player

23 Tampa Bay: Jon Scott OT Texas ? A good left tackle that has only the knock of Inconsistent. Gruden will beat it out of him till he is consistent, literately.

24 Cincinnati: Vernon Davis TE Maryland ? Top Tight end in the draft, falls downwards upon the boards but is a good steal here.

25 NY Giants: Demeco Ryans LB Alabama - Good LB that falls downwards because of concerns of size and speed. He has the instincts but will need to put on weight and hopefully improve his speed too?

26 Chicago: Leonard Pope TE Georgia- Good tight end and good run blocker. He is the second best tight end upon the board and a good pick up here.

27 Carolina: Santonio Holmes WR Ohio State - Top quality Wide recever that can come in and take some of the pressure off of Steve Smith, the one man show.

28 Jacksonville: Tye Hill CB Clemson- solid cornerback in coverage, only concern is his height (5?10?). He will be a solid corner out there.

29 Denver: Chad Jackson WR UF ? ood wide receiver with a lot of potential, came out early or could be even better. He will fill in nicely for Rod smith.

30 Indianapolis: Ernie Sims LB FSU ? A good LB that will fit in well within the Indy scheme. They have 1 of their LB?s as a FA that most likely will walk. He can easily replace the hole.

31 Seattle: Thomas Howard LB UTEP ? Replaces the their OLB (whom is 34 I believe?), along with a BPA pick here.

32 Pittsburgh: Nick Mangold C Ohio State- Good big center with the ability to mix it up in the middle and help against the run.

this was a quick one, gives me your thoughts and all. I am sure a few things folks wont like and some will life. They never will, bash away at the picks as much as you want. Just please be respectful to the poster. I do these just to give you all some things and debate for everyone.

anyways thoughts all?

If we sign Brees, then ya Cromartie would be a perfect fit..

I would really like that.

with indy just signing wayne to a sick deal Means Edge is gone.

there is no doubt in my mind that if Marooney is there they will take him

I think miami would go with Simpson over cromartie.

I would be happy to take one of these three guys. In no particular order.

1) Michael Huff

2) Jimmy Williams

3) Chad Greenway

If we can get one of those guys, I would love it. Would be an awesome way to start the 2006 draft. After the draft Saban had last year, I have a great deal of confidence in him.

Michael Huff won't be there at #16. Jimmy Williams is a headcase and I don't want him on my team. Chad Greenway...eh, I'd rather address the secondary with Antonio Cromartie.

If the 'fins sign Brees, I don't even care about draft day, they could draft Jamar Fletcher 2.0 and I wouldn't care.

I really dont see any of them there :(

Huff is a top 10 pick. Williams will go to atlanta and has alot of off the field problems too :(

Greenway could be there but I doubt it.
