funny....

so Looper will never ever be close to Urbina because of what he is done the past 5 games?

and how many BS does Uggy have? and how many does Loop have?

ill answer for you.... Uggy has 6, Loop has 4...

Most, if not all of those blown saves came during when he was with Texas. Looper hasn't pitched overly well this year in general. 3.15 era

26/30 in save opps

how is that bad in anyway?

he gets the job done.... thats all you can ask from a closer

Sad, but I can't get a focus on next season's catching until the Castro criminal stuff is resolved.

I would love for pudge to stay but if he doesnt we have very good backups with Castro and Redmond. Castro hit another Home Run Yesterday. That 5 Homerruns in 50 plate appearances~

It would be great if Castro could get the start today...

Cabs is due for a Homerun, he has been hittin alot of doubles lately...

Pudge is a diety in San Juan, why would he not start?

Here is another article from Espn.com

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico -- Ivan Rodriguez likes what he sees in the Florida Marlins and said he wants to stay with the team after this season.

The catcher, who lives in Miami, signed a one-year $10 million contract in January.

"I like the organization, I like the team. It's my home," Rodriguez said in San Juan, where his team is playing a three-game series against the Montreal Expos.

"What I like the most is the camaraderie in the clubhouse," he added.

Rodriguez said he is focusing on the NL wild-card race and will not discuss contract talks until after the season.

"After that we'll see what happens," he said.

Rodriguez said he would like to be around when the team's young pitching staff starts to fully develop.

"Our five starters are quality pitchers. Our team, if it's not complete, it's really close," Rodriguez said.
