This is by far the best stretch of his career and his season numbers are now up to 21.4 PPG and 10.1 RPG. Is he finally coming into his own or is he just hot?
March 9, 200620 yr Whatever it is keep it coming big boy...i picked Yao in my draft for the Salary Cap Challenge in NBA.com and he has been gold...him and Shawn Marion have propeled me to first place in the 2nd half of the season
March 9, 200620 yr I really do hope he can help continue the era of dominant big men. It looks like Shaq is the last of his kind, but maybe Yao can step it up in the next couple years.

Shaq is the last of the dominant big men...I hope Yao can continue at this pace and become the next dominant big man. The NBA without a dominant center is not a good thing to me.

And then maybe Greg Oden can come in and help bring them back and maybe Andrew Bynum will develop. Robert Swift and Kendrick Perkins have looked good lately but I don't seeing them as having the superstar ability. Also, not sure if they count as a center but Dwight Howard and/or Amare are also great. There is def. some talented young big men that are around and we could have a return of the bigs in the not so distant future.
