Progress Report

Featured Replies

Hey, I've been out of the loop since Spring Training started. I really haven't been online or checked stats from games.

Would someone be nice enough to give me feedback on the following players (how they are performing, prospects, development....):

Yusmeiro Petit

Scott Olsen

Jason Vargas

Mike Jacobs

Dan Uggla

Jeremy Hermida

Josh Willingham

Chris Resop

Reynel Pinto

Thanks in advance. Even if you can only do one player, I'd be more than grateful (I want a fellow fan's perspective rather than summaries and rehashed reports.)

I mean, even a simple "He has looked good so far--he's a nice defensive option" would be appreciated. I'm not asking for too much here. Just one player even. I've checked stats and what not, but that doesn't tell the whole story.

Thanks!

Yusmeiro Petit- got knocked around his first start, good start in his second

Scott Olsen- no runs yet... or strikeouts

Jason Vargas- dominant

Mike Jacobs- hasnt shown any power

Dan Uggla- playin well, has a couple of real far outs too

Jeremy Hermida- in a bit of a slump... 1 or 2 XBH

Josh Willingham- the term God comes to mind, he has thrown out atleast 3 would be basestealers

Chris Resop- 4 scoreless

Reynel Pinto- very very wild

Reynel Pinto- very very wild

Same can be said of Bowyer.

Stokes and Abercrombie are showing some O. And making a statement for making the 25 man roster.

Abercrombie may now be in the lead to start in CF.

Stokes is having a tryout in LF...trying to find a place to put his bat.

Josh Johnson has allowed no runs and 1 hit in 9 innings and is making a strong case to be in the rotation.

Josh Willingham has improved alot on defense and is doing everything offensively and has yet to strike out thing ST.

Hanley "Shadez" Ramirez is showing his power potential by leading the club in homers with 3.

Robert Andino has made his case this ST for the starting SS position by hitting .333 but Shadez has been better.

One name to look out for is Jason Stokes...he's playing his way into the lineup in some capacity, be it at first base or left field.
