I was just curious what the US team would have looked like if you had assembled it (assuming no injuries to prevent a guy a from participating).

 

Who would the starting position players and DH be? The starting pitchers? The bullpen? Bench Players. If you guys have already discussed this just refer me to the thread. I have been away from the board for a few weeks.

I personally beleive the whole WBC was thrown to garbadge since they were not getting paid, players were laughing like if nothing during their loss at Mexico. Their is no way the USA lost this tournament, team cuba went extremely far though, and I knew they would, as a cuban I am glad they did, but we all know that they play together, and had the most in game experience together, they had an edge.

Most of the players on the US are millionares... i dont think they need to be paid...the WBC was about playing for your country because you love the game.

It's the Americans fault that they weren't as shaken by their losses as the Major Leaguers from Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Venezuela were.
