RUMOR: Doug Flutie Possible Backup?

Featured Replies

Doug Flutie, the man who once brought The U fans to tears might be heading to South Florida to serve as backup QB or possibly starter for week 1 (Barring C-Pepp’s Rehab).

EDIT: Don't get all huffy and puffy yet. I heard this on the radio. You know how we all feed off rumors! They make the world go round.

i guess he'd make a serviceable backup...though he turns 44 this season.

is he a free agent? i'd hate to have to give something up for him.

He ended his career with the team he loved from the beginning, I wouldn't want ruin my image in front of Bostonians forever.

Chance in hell, Not A.
