What is the significance of the second column left orange triangular with the exclamation point?

It is simply an icon that the originator of the thread chose for it. The default is no icon (which is why most topics do not have any pictures next to them). You can choose one when you create a new topic. It is a way to categorize threads that most people don't use.

I guess it's not important, but, in fact, I have no idea what you just said. I noticed it this morning after Pat'sGirl (Philly fan) posted on that continuing Marlins/Phillies thread. Thanks, anyway.

(The posting originator can add any emphasis he wants in the second column? No matter how uninteresting his posting may be?))
