This is a picture about 100 yards from my house in the United Kingdom. As you can see it is a clear day.

Beautiful. Is that grey stuff equivalent to sand? BTW, I envy and hate you.

Those are pebbles, when the tide goes way out you can see the sand, and the sand is brown. As you can see the water is not as blue as the gulf of mexico, or just off shore of the east coast of florida. But never less it will do for now. BTW, the pebbles got up to the beach from a very intence storm about 150 years ago. Thats what they say.
