Now, I know what you're thinking. This guy is a complete and total retard, but this move could significantly help the Marlins financially. They deserve better and should move where they can win games.

Oakland Athletics Get:

SP Dontrelle Willis from Marlins

SP Brian Moehler from Marlins

prospect from Marlins

 

New York Mets Get:

3B Miguel Cabrera

RP Matt Herges

 

If not this trade, what trade would you consider that involves both Cabrera and Willis going at the same time.

It's probably not a good time to talk Willis trade. His stock is probably low right now; people think he's vulnerable and maybe not the ace he was thought to be.

If we were trading with the A's I'd rather have Daric Barton and Mark Kotsay. We have enough pitching as it is. Sure, Kotsay's got a big contract, but with the relative low salaries of the team we could surely afford it.
