June 15, 200620 yr I think my laptop overheated and maybe fried... It just turned off suddenly and the power won't even go on now. Do I need to get a new one? (warranty); should I make sure that's what is wrong? What to do...

June 15, 200620 yr I would douse it with at least a gallon of cold water, then take it's temperature to see if the fever has come down......
