There should be 40K at least . . .

It takes time to build the fan base and this is just a catalyst to make that happen faster. The fans are not like in other cities, these bandwagoners don't jump on until they fall head over heels for the team, and that point will come this weekend. I'm just frustrated with the typical South Florida fan, that will not go with rain or the minimal threat of rain. For example, for last night game I had to drag a friend of mine to go to the park. He told me . . "I don't know? it seems cloudy . . .", I had to literaly insult him to get him to wake up and go.

That is what I am saying, we don't have a fickle fan base that just appears, it must be earned. We have only played 11 seasons of baseball, and I think we are not doing bad at all. We need our own ballpark, and Mr. Loria is going to get that this November or December, mark my words! I BELIEVE!
CapeFish
Guys, the radar is not looking good for game time. Rain delay is possible, but not likely at the moment. Heavy rains are not near the park, but some dark clouds and light rain are. Lightning is a possibility, so it may be better to delay opr postpone the game if it comes to that.
