July 30, 200620 yr Not a big deal. Its a second degree misdemeanor. Hundreds of people get arrested every day for suspicion of Driving Under The Influence. He showed some poor judgment by driving impaired. Not like the guy smacked his wife or anything like a certain Phillies pitcher. Cut the guy a break. He's freakin Mad Max for christs sake. (no pun intended) I'm sure you wouldn't be saying that if he killed someone. Correct. That would be completely different. But there are thousands upon thousands of ppl in this world that have not gotten a DUI based simply on not being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Whatever. Ive spent way to much time discussing M Gibson today. And each and every one of those thousands of people were complete morons and deserved the punishment they received. DUI's are serious sh*t and I have no respect for anyone who drives drunk, wrong place at the wrong time MY ASS. hey.....quit breakin my ba*ls. and when your finished, go tell the people who write the laws how serious it is because right now DUI's are punishable as misdemeanors. Maybe with your urging they will bump it up to a felony.
