Moving on to the next phase of my life

Featured Replies

So I graduated in May and just last week i got an offer from IBM to become a supply chain consultant. I've accepted and will be moving down to the nation's capital in late september or early october. Actually, my buddy down there is looking at places in Arlington so that is prob where i will be living.

Anyone know much about the area? Nightlife? Girls? I've been to DC before and know it's a good time. How about Arlington?

Plan to spend the better part of each day going around the circle.

We wasted 2 1/2 hours one day driving through.

UGH!

There are a lot of girls there that are fresh out of college, I used to date one

Stay away from her. :shifty

I hear DC can be a great town for the nightlife, but like every major city is very expensive.

Was in Arlington last weekend and went out to a few bars. It was a real good time. There's lots to do at night and there are plenty of good looking girls to go around. Traffic really sucks, but oh well just take the Metro everywhere.
