October 9, 200619 yr TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Toledo center Haris Charalambous died Monday after collapsing during conditioning practice. After Charalambous collapsed, trainers performed CPR on him until paramedics arrived. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, university spokesman Lawrence Burns said. The cause of death was not immediately known. "This has been a shock to our entire athletic program and university," Burns said. The 21-year-old Charalambous, of Manchester, England, was expected to be a backup center this season.
