Marcus Vick a Dolphin

Marcus Vick was promoted Tuesday from the practice squad to the Dolphins' 53-man roster.

The team cleared a roster space by waiving fellow wide receiver Cliff Russell.

Initially considered a long shot to make the Dolphins' roster when signing in May, Vick has impressed the team while making the conversion from playing quarterback last season at Virginia Tech. Vick also has avoided the off-field problems that prematurely ended his college career and contributed to his not getting selected in April's draft.

Russell had two catches this season and had played mostly on special teams.

Let's just complete the cycle and give him the reigns at QB too. Can't be any worse than the 2 guys infront of him have played this year.

Harrington has been more than adequate. Unfortunately our #2 receiver has been hindered, and half of his interceptions have been receivers' faults (Welker and Hagan)

Uh where is Chambers on your list?

Was it Chambers last game or Hagan? Maybe I had them confused. One of them I know was Welker.

Regardless, the Fins have a nice little youth movement going down. With McMichael and Chambers in their prime and Hagan and Vick hopefully developing into nice options, our receiving corps could shape up very nicely.

It was Chambers.

You are right. I was thinking of Hagan dropping that wide open pass late in the game.

Aside from the sacks, Harrington's numbers have been worse than Culpeppers and all of his yards came against the prevent last week. It's funny how the low expectations for him allow us to run Daunte out and applaud Joey's effort.

Daunte's numbers are inflated because all he does is throw dumpoffs to Ronnie and his only two TDs came in garbage time also. Harrington has been better, but he has been the lesser of two evils this year.
