November 7, 200619 yr I need to make a sale for my radio station....What kind of companies would look to advertise on the radio for the Christmas season??? It's a sports station so any ideas would greatfully help....any sales i make based on your suggestion, you may get a piece of it.
November 7, 200619 yr Best Buy, Circuit City Dominos/or a local pizza place (not necessarily a Xmas thing, but I always hear pizza place advertisements on sports stations) Any sports bars in teh area
November 7, 200619 yr I'm looking for like sports companies or places that sell sporting goods on the internet maybe.
November 7, 200619 yr I'll be honest, some of the best targets for sports stations are those weird marketing items. Things like custom teddy bears, flowers and that sort of thing, especially ones with smaller market shares. It's an easy attraction for guys who don't know what to get their girlfriend/wife and who don't give a crap as far as research goes. Plus, companies like that are looking for any exposure they can get and it's a win win for both parties as the radio station will have sold airtime and the company gets exposure to a key demographic.
