November 15, 200619 yr I was thinking of doing this. I'm talking about my team, my opponent, and his team. My QB is Jason Campbell making his debut. His TE is Cooley. For Cooley to succeed, Campbell will have to as well. If they connect for a 7 yard TD he get's 6 points and I get 3. That's a 3 point difference. Which means a lot. His QB is McNair. He has one of his receivers in Mason but I might start Wilcox at TE if Heap doesn't play and Moore or WIlliams at WR. So it's like the Campbell and Cooley situation! HAHAHA! That's praying that at least one of those 3 guys play. He is starting Fred Taylor who is with the Jaguars. I'm starting MJD. They'll probably split carries and hopefully, MJD will have a TD. Maybe they'll both get a TD. Dunno, but hopefully the points will cancel each other out. He's starting Taylor, JAX Defense, and JAX Kicker. So I'll counter by starting LT, SD Defense, and SD Kicker. Haha. I already spoke about the TE situation. This will be great. Hopefully, Heap doesn't play. It'd will basically be a mirror match with LT and Holt being the difference makers. I need them to come up big for me! What you think? Great strategy or stupid? P.S. - I'm 8-2 so I'm probably going to make the play-offs since the rest of my league really sucks and I just wanna have some fun now. P.S.S. - This is the a**hole that is in my division and accepted a trade RIGHT BEFORE game time so I couldn't choose to start a TE. Luckily, I won anyway. This is how I wish to get back at this bitch. He's 4-6 by the way.
November 16, 200619 yr I tried something similar last year. I wound up winning the week but it was no thanks to this strategy but to a hell of a week by LaDanian Tomlinson. It can work or it can bite you in the ass. Look for someone you don't expect to have a big week have a big week.
