Movie help- Character who has panic attacks.

Featured Replies

For my psychology class I have to present a disorder (mine is panic disorder) and I NEED a video to go with my presentation. Since I am not a movie person- does anyone know any movies where a character suffers from a Panic Disorder?

Thanks sooo much.

On television, you can go with The Sopranos. Tony Soprano suffers from panic attacks. An important part of the show's plot revolved around him meeting with a pscyhologist to deal with his panic attacks, so there are alot of scenes throughout the seasons where he has them.

Let me know if you need to know Season / Episode numbers.

Anothe Nic Cage movie that definitely sports a panic-prone character is 'Matchstick Men'

Actually he had OCD, Not panic attacks.

I suffer from Anxiety and Panic attacks myself. So I know a little about these things.

In Sopranos, Tony does have Panic attacks. They are usually caused by high stress levels.

You're right, it wasn't panic attacks. But for the majority of the film, he 'thought' he had them and so his character was basically experiencing them (all psychological of course).
