CapeFish
Jan. 27, 2007 Tallahassee, FL -- SUN Sports announced Saturday that it will televise 10 Florida State baseball games this season. Fans will be able to see five road games as well as five games played on Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium. Three of FSU's six games versus Miami and Florida will be televised and eight of the 10 SUN Sports broadcasts will feature conference opponents. The first TV game of the year for Florida State will be a big one as SUN will bring fans the 203rd meeting between the Seminoles and Gators live from Gainesville February 20. The last non-conference game being broadcast will be the second SUN Sports game of the year for the Seminoles as FSU faces off with Indiana for the first time since 1959. Each and every one of the last eight SUN Sports broadcasts will feature conference opponents. In the month of March fans can watch FSU take on Wake Forest on March 16 and then see two of the three games of the Boston College series. Four of the final televised games are road contests. SUN will travel to Durham, Coral Gables and Maryland for Seminole road contests. The final home broadcast on SUN will be the opening game of the Virginia Tech series April 13. On top of those 10 games, FSU baseball will also be the "ACC Game of the Week" on two occasions.
