If that name doesn't sound familiar to you, it should. He was dealt from the Marlins to the Mariners in the Ron Villone deal a couple years ago. I was just browsing draysbay.com, and found out that the Mariners have designated him for assignment this weekend. Check out his milb.com page, and pay close attention to his winter league stats. 21 appearances all out of the pen!!
