Luis Castillo was the best you could do at 2b?

I really hope that's a 12 team league.

Kinda short on relief pitching, imo too.

Giambi is #15 on my depth chart at 1B. Also, you can not count on a full season from Giambi.

Agreed with Ramp - you need to find a better option at 2B. Castillo is MAYBE #25 in my depth chart at 2B. Try grabbing someone like Ryan Freel or Freddy Sanchez if at all possible. The upshot on these two is the number of positions they qualify for in a pinch.

I have Cabrera at #16 in my SS depth chart.

Your OF is fine, but that's the deepest position in baseball, so that isn't saying much.

Overall evaluation is that you have 3 positions that should not even be starting in a 12 man league. With some luck and good waiver wire pickups during the season, you might be able to sniff at mediocrity.

On the plus side, you are stacked at Catcher. :|

Well this was just practice for me so I'm not too worried. I'm finally getting alot of my notes together. Any thoughts on my Starting Pitchers?

Any thoughts on my Starting Pitchers?

Kazmir is a bottom tier #1 starter. My only beef with him is that he pitches for a cellar-dweller and that costs him wins.

Schilling, on the other hand, is a top tier #2 starter.

Willis has his greatest value as trade-bait because he is a big name. You should be able to get someone like a Dave Bush or Chien-Ming Wang [both upgrades] for him while also upgrading at another position. You can also look for starters coming off of off-years or changing to a more favorable team [Andy Pettitte fits BOTH criteria] for some good value picks.

I just don't know what Zito is going to do in SF. He may very well end up being your number 1 pitcher. My gut is that he will do well in the NL but you can't guess at this stuff.

Gee. How did Tankersley end up in your rotation? All I will say is this - he only appears on 15% of ESPN MLB fantasy league rosters...

Chad is probably 10 on my RP depth chart bc he doesn't get enough save ops with the Nats and Francisco is 15th. So, you don't have a strength here, but it isn't that weak either. I would almost rather see you with a stud [maybe package them both for a BJ Ryan or F-Rod?] and a hot RP off of waivers. But you can stand pat and do alright.

I'd love to see the other rosters to know what you are up against, but these are my guesses based on how I've seen other drafts pan out.
