I was lucky enough to be friends with a guy who happens to be a part owner of the Boston Redsox. I have to admit, baseball fans give the players and Front Office personal too much crap about being up tight. My friend and I were able to use the practice field, batting cages, and go into the clubhouse without any one questioning us being there. (the workers and players are NOT familiar with my friend). I had never seen as much Bazooka gum as i did in the club house :notworthy . I was even able to talk to Theo Epstien(redsox GM) for a few minutes. It was truely an amazing experience. :lol I did not expect for the organization to be so layed back.

 

By the way, David Ortiz has a yellow lambergini with the front licsense plate saying "Come to Papi"

I worked in the clubhouse for the Orioles during Spring Training when they had Sosa... it was very cool... and like you said, tubs and tubs of bazooka and sunflower seeds and powerade....... also had breakfast and lunch buffets every morning and afternoon... it was a very cool job

Everyone who works at that stadium goes to that little house out behind the left field bleachers to eat all day long. Whenever you see someone walking over there, you know what they're going there for. Its amusing.

Well thats where the kitchen was located... they would bring everything over on a cart to the clubhouse...

Yea, But I have to admit, the buffet in the owners box looked alot better than anything the players were getting. Funny story about that, Pedro once came up to the owners box to grab some food after he pitched.

 

By the way, How did you get that job in the clubhouse?
