In case you haven't been reminded already, today (May 1st), is the 4th anniversary of the now infamous "Mission Accomplished" speech by President Bush aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln. The President arrived via a Viking Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) plane, wearing his own flight-suit. He then spoke at a podium with a gigantic "Mission Accomplished" banner hung on the bridge of the ship, convieniently in view of the cameras recording his speech.

As you know, this marked the last time when people felt good about the Iraq War. :confused

I have my fingers crossed that we will be out of Iraq before the 5th anniversary comes around a year from now. However, I still have a whole lot of doubts that it will happen.
