I love the fact that we have a real live catching prospect in Brett Hayes. He is looking really good offensively and everything I read about him says he is an excellent defensive catcher who will be great at handling a pitching staff.

I like out future with Gaby and Brett moving up in 2 years maybe?

Wouldn't shock me at all if Brett Hayes was the starting catcher next year.

Id say he would need to move up to Carolina, get 250-300 at bats and hit well, and perform well in ST for that to happen.

He hasnt had a full season in the minors yet I dont think?
