Chicago Cubs Fan Invited to Free 3-month Stay in South Florida

Wednesday October 15, 3:59 pm ET

POMPANO BEACH, Fla., Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The Chicago Cubs fan who is now famous for catching a foul ball Wednesday night is being extended a free 3-month vacation at the Holiday Inn Oceanside Pompano Beach, along with free airfare, a dinner at Dan Marino's Restaurant, free martinis at the Martini Bar and a free water taxi ride on the Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal Waterway.

The Cubs fan is the talk of the nation and the free 3-month escape to South Florida is a way to keep the young man from avoiding the heat in Chicago. Extra steps will be taken so that his identity will remain anonymous

"An oceanfront retreat in sunny South Florida is the least we could do for the fan that saved our season," said Phil Goldfarb, President of the Holiday Inn Pompano Beach. "As dedicated Marlins fans, it is our honor to return the favor."

Since the Cubs fan appears to be in seclusion, all he has to do is call the public relations firm providing the free airfare, Malkus Communications Group, at 954.523.4200. The free offer is valid immediately and the fan may call to complete the proper vacation or relocation arrangements.

"Certainly this is a tragic event for the Cubs fan and he probably needs an escape, so our PR firm will pay his airline ticket and most of his get-away to South Florida will be taken care of by local businesses," said Chuck Malkus, CEO of Malkus Communications Group.

The invitation is open and the loneliest Cubs fan may simply call 954.523.4200 to schedule his 3-month excursion.

:lol

Well done :D

They will be rewarded indeed. At least they made it to the NLCS, but the Marlins will come out victorious in Game 7
