June 29, 200719 yr i think the FO should stop thinking about next year and try to get there this year. i've always been taught "do what it takes to win todays game. and tomorrow do the same" u cant just give up mid season not out by much. jacobs is back and doing had a good game yesterday, hopefully he can get ina good rythm, cabrera is going to continue to put up cabrera numbers, hanley seems to be back on track. uggla is doing well too. defense has improved a bit over the past few games not as many errors. i say the front office gets a new 3rd base coach, center fielder, and give treanor more starts behind the plate. and good god do something about hermida. put him on a steady diet of wheaties or w.e. it takes to get some production out of him. it was good to see linden and caroll out there yesterday contributing in the win.
