September 17, 200719 yr http://www.dragonmount.com/ James Oliver Rigney, Jr. October 17, 1948 - September 16, 2007 "May you shelter in the palm of the Creator's hand, and may the last embrace of the mother welcome you home." Welcome, and thank you for visiting. New York Times #1 best-selling author Robert Jordan passed away on Sunday September 16th at 2:45 PM EST. His passing was announced by his cousin Wilson on his official blog, hosted here. Click here to read the original notice of his passing. The man known for the pen name Robert Jordan has passed away, a sad day for fantasy writers and readers of the work. May he rest in peace. I for one would say he was a major influence upon fantasy writers and the epic fantasy book series. A horrible happening to see but he is in a better place and the world is poorer for her loss. The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. In one Age, called the Third Age by some, an Age yet to come, an Age long past, a wind rose. The wind was not the beginning. There are neither beginnings nor endings to the turning of the Wheel of Time. But it was a beginning.
September 17, 200719 yr Oh no. I've been reading his books for 15 years. He had a long battle with a very rare and very debilitating disease. I wish his family nothing but the best. Rest in peace.
