I consider myself pretty cultured when it comes to watching a different variety of films.

I just don't get Wes Anderson films. I want to like them, but I just can't. I don't know what's keeping me from liking them either. Perhaps it's the ultra controlled environment in all his films. There's just something that keeps me detached from every one of them. I'll give him one thing, I know when I'm watching a Wes Anderson film. I can't say that for the majority of directors of today.

I'd like to know what fans of his work find so appealing about his films.
