December 12, 200718 yr Yikes. Risky money but they can afford it. They have a bad ass line-up now with this addition and I think Soto is going to be the ROY next year and they got awful production offensively behind the plate last year. Those two bats should be a huge lift.

He may not be the longterm answer, but he is still incredibly young and he showed a lot of bright spots last year despite the fact that he had horrible numbers. You can't write off a prospect at his age and with his skills. And Fukodome can easily play center if needed.
