The absolutely best ice cream place is Jaxson's off of 441 in Dania.

Rita's really isn't an ice cream place though, more Italian ice. The chain most people flock to up here if they want ice cream is Coldstone.

 

 

I've tried Coldstone twice and was left wanting. I didn't think their product was that great.

Rita's is pretty solid.

 

Coldstone is vastly overpriced.

The absolutely best ice cream place is Jaxson's off of 441 in Dania.

 

 

I think I remember ordering 'The Kitchen Sink' there once, or whatever it's called.

There's not too many Carvel's left. I know of one not too far from me in Hollywood off of Pines Blvd and like 56 avenue. But that's really the only one I know of. There might be another one still in North Miami not too far from John the Baker.

 

Nothing beats soft ice cream.

 

On another note- what do you all think of Dippin' Dots? I'm not really sure I'm a fan and you can't buy them in stores yet. I've never seen them. Only in Mall kiosks.

Coral Way and 85th Ave

 

And Dairy Queen also serves soft ice cream

67 ave and 40th street (bird road)

117 ave and kendall drive

There's a Carvel on Coral Way in between Shenandoah and the Gables. I think at like 30th Ave.
