April 1, 200818 yr For those of you who have read my previous topic, you will know that I play in a Points League version of Head-to-Head on ESPN. Last year, Dunn totaled like 845 points while rowand totaled 857 HR's are worth 4 points, but are really worth like 11 cause you get an RBI for it, it counts as 4 total bases and it counts for a run scored. (HR's = 4 ,RBI's = 2, TB = 1 per base, runs = 1point a peice) = 11 Dunn is known for his HR's so he could get me a lot of points, but rowand is more consistant. He put up amazing numbers last year, but he did hit at CB Park. SF doesn't really have anyone for him to drive in and its harder to hit HR's there. Should I still go with Rowand?
April 1, 200818 yr I play in a head to head points league, too, and love it. I won my league last year and raked in about 300 big ones Anyway, I'd go with Dunn because he plays in a really good hitters park. Where as Rowand plays in San Francisco where the fences are pretty deep. I personally think Rowand had a career year last year...probably won't do it again, but you never know. Plus, the Giants lineup is horrendous so I don't really see Rowand getting many pitches to hit. Dunn is the better option IMO, even though he either walks, k's or homers...lol Good luck
April 14, 200818 yr Author thanks, upon ending the Dunn xperiment was when he k'd in three abs. He did just as bad before that, then i dropped him an he hit a homer. right now i am comfortable with hamilton ichiro and nady.
