I had the wonderful opportunity to celebrate the victory on Saturday night in South Beach. Cheering, music and honking cars filled the air, and it was awesome. Luckily I had my camera so I was able to take pictures. It was a fantastic way to end my vacation.

 

At the Ft. Lauderdale Airport last night I was being checked by security (wearing my WS Marlins hat) when one of the guards asked where I was headed. Once I told her Chicago, she smiled, paused and said "Let me guess, you're a White Sox fan aren't you." "Yes I am" I said very proudly. That was pretty damn cool.

 

 

I want to say congrats to the Marlins. I've never seen a team so unbelieveably scrappy. They were clutch in every situation that they needed to be and it was a joy to watch them play. I couldn't be more happy for the team or for the fans. Thanks to all of you for being gracious hosts on this site.

 

 

I now proudly own two Marlins hats and my girlfriend has two shirts and a hat. And since my Bears will have a crappy year, :banghead these hats will be my winter gear.

 

The Marlins are my #1 NL team and I'll always be rooting for them.

I live in Chicago too and I hate the Cubs. But I'm a big Marlins and also a white sox fan . It was hell trying to find a Marlins cap here. So I just order mine Marlins stuff from fogdog.com. Order the National League, World Series Locker Room, Parade shirts, and the Marlins cap with WS patch.

as soon as i pay my bills and such i will buy one of those white sox visors i have been eyeing at work. they are really nice. not like those crappy NY visors that come in the most fruitacular colors
