July 2, 200817 yr I know he was DFA'd, but did he ever decide to accept an assignment to AAA, or become a free agent? I don't see him on the 'topes roster, but I haven't read anything definitive either way either.
July 2, 200817 yr Author He refused assignment and is a FA I believe. I figured, I just hadn't heard definitively. I mean, who wouldn't want an OF who has batted under .200 this year? Maybe the Long Island Ducks will give him a shot.
July 3, 200817 yr what a jerk, either retire or accept an assignment. jesus, onlky guys like him think they are still good enough to play at the elite level. prove yourself at aaa first
July 3, 200817 yr He could probably sign with the Nationals and instantly be the best outfielder on the team. No joke. Their outfield on their active roster consists of Roger Bernadina, Kory Casto, Elijah Dukes, Willy Harris, and Wily Mo Pena. :lol If that isn't pathetic, I don't know what is.
