January 23, 200323 yr Lieber probably isn't pitching this year as he rehabs from elbow surgery. This is something only a few teams can afford to do - spend a few million dollars on a guy that may help in 2004. I guess the Yankees have decided to ignore the luxury tax after all.
January 24, 200323 yr they sure did ignore the tax better for the fish . The marlins dont even want to get Grilli yet because he is rehabing this year and he is cheap unlike Lieber.
