August 2, 200818 yr He's on the 60 day DL and has not pitched in the minors this year. In spring training he was put on the DL for right shoulder tendinitis. Not really sure if or when he'll pitch again.
August 3, 200818 yr I'm still wondering what happened to Jose. It was really a shame that we waived him and the organization he was in didn't give him a shot to rehab. Never heard from him after that.

Never heard from him after that. He was claimed off waivers by the Oakland A's and they released him a few months later, and he's still a free agent His injury but be really really seriuos.
