August 25, 200817 yr Excuse me if my words are a little out of place. im sitting here at my work experience class and im half asleep as the teacher types on her type writer trying to figure out god knows what....a type writer? i mean really... anyways, this florida marlins baseball team is quite the team. -cant field -streaky hitters -not a consistent club -amazing pitching potential from start to finish -sloooooow team (we really got to get faster, i like power and all, but damn, who runs on this team? alfredo and hanley thats about it) This team, you cant assume anything. We beat the good teams but lose to the bad teams. No game is over till its over. We could be up 5 we could be down 5....with this team you never know whats gonna happen. (Would just like to add Kevin Gregg, I love him, probably cause of his glasses, but damn, everytime he comes in i bite my nails) This team was expected to just, suck some major booty juice but look where they are. Couple of games over .500 and still contending for a playoff spot. All i asked for at the beginning of the season, is to end up better than .500, so im satasfied. But this team cant quit! they can make it to the playoffs! and i mean this team is so special, look what were doing with the lowest payroll in baseball. A-rod makes more money taking a dump than this whole frikin team. Imagine when the payroll goes up and that new stadium comes around. This team is going to be sick. I love this team all though they stress the hell out of me...and i'll never quit on them even when they freakin lose 2-3 to the damn Sf Giants. but whatever i gotta take a nap because my eyes cant stay open no longer. Go fish.

August 25, 200817 yr Good Post. Like FIPhillie said, they far exceeded anyone's expectations coming into the seaon, including mine. Right now im proud to be a marlins fan.

August 26, 200817 yr Author You cant set your season on "oh lets just compete for awhile, play hard, impress some people, get on espn a little more, than call it quits" they've come this far, why not go for it all?
