Marlins vs. Italy 3/4

Featured Replies

I just pulled up the boxscore. Another very solid outing for JJ: 4.0 innings, 3 hits, 1 ER, 0BB, 4K, 7-1 groundballs/flyballs. Nolasco got roughed up a bit with a HR, and a couple of extra base hits.

Offensively, Morrison is the only bright spot. 2-2 with a walk, a double, and an RBI out of the 3-hole.

Carroll with an outfield assist.

No errors, yet.

4-1 Italy in the 6th.

Something's definitely amiss with Nolasco.

Im not worried he could just be working on certain pitches during games.

I thought the exact same thing when I saw his statline from today's game.

Something's definitely amiss with Nolasco.

Take last year for example and he was average for the first month or 2 of the season then things really clicked into place. Maybe his breaking pitches are still a bit rusty from the winter and he hasnt got the movement on them yet? Anyway theres still plenty of time in ST for him to get things going.

i find their team funny

their starting short stop is straight out of the heart of italy
