March 28, 200917 yr I signed up for sandbox fantasy today and shortly after i read this in the rules PLEASE NOTE: If you are a resident of Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, New Jersey, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont, you are welcome to participate in the game, but you will not be eligible to win a prize. You can't play fantasy sports for money here? Someone tell me whats up.
March 29, 200917 yr I'm not 100% sure on this, but I asked this last year and I recall this is the answer I got: It's illegal in Florida (and I guess those other states) to enter into a contest where you have to "pay-to-play", with the state lottery being the exception (I'm guessing because the state taxes it). Playing over the internet, I guess, qualifies as "paying" to play.
