I was "watching" the game on gameday and it says that Cole Hamels left the game with an injury. Didnt he have issues with velocity in his past few starts? I wonder what happened. Anyone know?

It said he left with an injured neck/shoulder. I am not watching either but tracking it on Gameday and the play in which he got injured it said the ball deflected off him and they got the out, so I'm presuming he was hit by a liner high up which could be damn nasty.

Well they said something about a left shoulder contusion.

 

He got hit from a ball off the bat of price fielder I belive, left the game pretty fast.

 

And they didnt get the out.
