May 11, 200917 yr a little old, this came out May 5th... Santos went the entire month of April without allowing an earned run. In eight April appearances (two starts), Santos posted a 2-0 record, 0.00 ERA, and allowed only three hits and three walks while striking out 14 batters over 20.0 innings pitched. Santos held opponents to a .048 batting average. Santos, who led the Southern League in ERA for the month, currently has the longest winning streak in the SL (seven games), dating back to June 6, 2008. He was also named Southern League pitcher of the week recently. Promoted to AAA New Orleans on May 7th.
