June 8, 200917 yr 2 part story nothing major just something i'd thought i would share with you guys... I got to hangout with Ken Griffey Sr. all weekend showing him around Miami and Fiu Baseball Stadium because he officially became our Commissioner this weekend for the Florida Winter Baseball League which opens up in a few months,it an Independant league Which will start this season and one of the teams is the Miami Diamantes which will play out of FIU Field,the other teams are in Orlando,Cape Coral,and Tampa,I might get the Miami coaching job...It was fun and he's a really cool guy.. 2nd i also bumped into El Duque this weekend and he told me he was on the way to Texas to take his physical and if all went well he was signing a 1 year contract...Thought you guys should know...
June 8, 200917 yr Now, when I originally typed out this post, it was in all caps. I have since calmed down. I am very excited at the prospect of seeing baseball in the winter, especially right by my house at FIU.
