Do you think Obama should make a stand as in help the people of Iran for their revolt to the regime?

How about this....

 

a) what exactly would you like him to do, and

 

b) what do you hope those actions will realistically result in?

It's best to let this thing happen organically and then join with a coalition of nations to provide support once it's all said and done

 

we've bungled about every attempt at having a friendly regime in the region over the past 50 years

 

the iranian people are young, educated and developing ....... they want better for themselves and will make strides on their own

 

with our history anything other than giving lip service and broad terminology is just fuel for their fire and propoganda machine

 

Pres. A. is already demanding apologies from Barack based on the little he did say

 

they are also trying really hard to paint the demonstrations as an attempt by the western satans to undermine their islamic gov't and just another example of how the west will try to undermine and embarrass them

 

look at the story of Neda ...... how many different stories have they had for why she died?! - one of the official versions is that she was shot by a CIA operative to make them look bad

 

there is little we can do to actually support them - we will not take up arms with the protestors and even a reformist under the islamic regime is not the best of potential friends

 

so what should be done and to what end?

 

give a ton of verbal and tactical support and premiere Bay of Pigs 2: Desert Party ?!?
