But I don't think that's what a good number of BBWAA voters were thinking when they overlooked a stat they generally orgasm over (RBI) and went with Berroa.

but at the same time, probably half of Matsui's first place votes were probably because of two reasons: 1. he was japanese, 2. he was a yankee
