August 29, 200917 yr I can't find it on :thumbdown DirecTV and on the Marlins site it says exclusively on MLBTV...this sucks.
August 29, 200917 yr Saturday games that start at 6 P.M. cannot be shown on TV. This is because of a contract with FOX that blacksout all games on Saturdays between 12 p.m.-7 p.m. (I believe that's the time, someone can correct me if otherwise, I know it ends at 7 though) on every non-FOX channel. So legally the FSN could not show the game until 7 p.m. Other stations do this, hop into the game at 7 p.m., but FSN doesn't. The Marlins do this because they want the post-game concert to be earlier in the day to get more people to the ball park. Sucks for us fans away from Miami though.
August 29, 200917 yr Why is this such a source of confusion everytime it happens? If they cant show the game, it wont be on tv.
