April 16, 201016 yr The change means, for example, that if a player makes a taunting gesture to an opponent on the way to scoring a touchdown, the flag would nullify the score and penalize the offending team from the spot of the foul. Penalties for dead-ball misconduct fouls (for example, unsportsmanlike behavior after the player crosses the goal line) would continue to be assessed on the ensuing kickoff or the extra point/two point conversion attempt. Imagine if this rule is used after a team just scored the winning touchdown in a BCS game, this rule is terrible.

Imagine if this rule is used after a team just scored the winning touchdown in a BCS game, this rule is terrible. It says if you celebrate on the way to scoring you would lose points. If celebrate after you score, then it will be just like it is now. Its not that big of a deal. If a player is running towards the endzone there is no need to taunt your opponent. Do it after you score.
April 17, 201016 yr This is getting ridiculous. FOr now on its basically score, high five, and sit on the bench. If you are blatantly celebrating unneccessarily then thats one thing, but this? f***ing ridiculous
