Pudge Rodriguez has .291 RISP Career BA.You brought up Pudge 02 stats but that was off year for pudge at the plate due to his injuries. If you look back at Pudge Career you see has bee nconsistent with risp BA.Your argument makes no sense.

Comparing RSIP to BA ...

I guess you couldn't follow my post.

Statistically, he really isn't the anti-clutch that everyone makes him out to be. A difference of .008 between career BA and RISP is not anti-clutch.

Our supposed Mr. Clutch--Pudge Rodriguez--sports a career BA of .304 and a career RISP of .294 (a difference of .010). In 2002, his BA was .314 and his RISP was .255. In 2001, his BA was .308 and his RISP was .286.

What does all this tell you? This notion of "clutchness" is so subjective and statistically meaningless from season-to-season that I don't think it's even worth mentioning in DLee's case.

The first thing I noted was that Pudge's career BA and RISP are consistent, just as are Lee's. Then I pointed out that in 2002 and in 2001 his RISP was far lower than his BA. Then I finished my point by saying that the whole notion of "clutchness" is pointless and these numbers vary widely from year to year, due in large part to small sample size and mere circumstance.

Can you follow that?

I didn't say Pudge was anti-clutch. I merely pointed out that his RISP over a small stretch of time neither qualifies him as clutch nor anti-clutch. The same applies for DLee. The point of my post was that DLee's BA is about the same as his RISP, and thus this notion of him being "not clutch" is not statistically sound.

I hope you can understand my post now.
