Admin
As many of you know, I live in New York and I experienced Hurricane Sandy albeit at a much lesser degree than many other people in the area. There is a lot of destruction in the Northeast and it will take a long time to rebuild. Every little bit helps and Marlins' pitcher Tom Koehler is doing his part to help out. Koehler has organized a pair of baseball clinics to take place in December. One in Stony Brook, New York and the other at Marlins Park. Please take a moment to visit http://miami.marlins.mlb.com/mia/community/pitch_for_relief.jsp and see what he is doing for people devastated by Hurricane Sandy. I know often times the news exaggerates stories but I can tell you with confidence -- this storm was as bad as the news said. It decimated several huge areas and put countless families out of their homes. For some people, things will never return to normal. These baseball clinics will not only educate and excite a young person in your life but will also help out people in dire need of help up here in the Northeast. Piazza31
I've played on stony brooks fields for a summer, if you go it's beautiful. That was about 8 years ago however.
